Bishop Samuel Raymond Blakes, a man of unwavering integrity, was called by God at a very young age and has been preaching the Word of God ever since. As the youngest son of Prophet Robert Charles Blakes, Sr., and Lady Lois R. Blakes, he has continued a legacy of faith and leadership. He is not only a devoted servant of God but also a loving father to two beautiful daughters.

 He has been the Senior Pastor of New Home Family Worship Center in New Orleans, LA., since 1995, and Baton Rouge, LA., since 2008. Under his leadership, the church has grown tremendously from just 14 members to a thriving congregation of thousands today.

Bishop Blakes' academic journey began at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, followed by studies at Southern University of New Orleans. He further advanced his theological education, receiving both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Theology from Christian Bible College in LA.

Bishop Blakes has extensively traveled to various parts of the United States and abroad, evangelizing the Word of God to a lost and dying world. He also serves as the Second Presiding Bishop of Family Of Churches Fellowship International “FOCFI”, a conglomerate of churches nationwide. Because of his innate ability to simplify the truth of God’s Word, he is an internationally sought-after preacher. He is truly a man of vision, purpose, and destiny and is filled with a substantial amount of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God’s Word.

Embodying the wisdom of his father and guided by the Holy Spirit, Bishop Blakes is passionate about equipping believers with the tools for Spiritual Warfare–teaching the believer how to study and effectively apply the principles of God’s Word to their lives.

In addition to his spiritual endeavors, Bishop Blakes is also celebrated as a National Recording Artist. His album "I Survived" has been well-received, with the lead single "God Wants To Hear From You" debuting at #11 on the Billboard Charts.

Bishop R.C. Blakes, Jr. covers leaders and churches across America. With a ministry journey that began in 1982, he holds a Bachelor's and Master's of Theology from Christian Bible College of Louisiana and is a nationally sought-after teacher of the Word of God.

Beyond the pulpit, Bishop Blakes is a prominent figure in media, making appearances on CNN, Al Jazeera, FOX, and other platforms, addressing critical issues with the unwavering stance that social justice is inseparable from the message of Jesus Christ. He and the Blakes Family also own and operate KKNO (750am), a Christian radio station in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Bishop Blakes is a prolific author, with impactful works like "The Father Daughter Talk," a globally recognized piece, and other influential books like "Wisdom for Women In Ministry," "The Laws of Manifesting Your Vision," "God’s Playbook For A Winning Family" (co-authored by Lisa), and "Soul Ties-Breaking The Ties That Bind." His commitment extends to raising a righteous generation of men, evident in The Manhood Academy, a course redefining classical manhood.

Lisa Blakes is a wife, mother and grandmother. In her own right she is a teacher and catalyst of healing. Though, by nature, she is most comfortable working behind the scenes her voice is demanded by the masses. Her words have been said to soothe emotional pain and to bring understanding to traumatic confusion.

Lisa has experienced, survived and conquered a life of childhood abuse. It is from this painful context that she ministers healing to a generation. Her presentations are self-reflective and surprisingly transparent. Lisa believes that transparency is the bridge that connects hurting people to the message of healing. She has been called “the wounded healer”.

Ironically, Lisa is an RN by profession. She also serves alongside her husband RC Blakes in ministry at the New Home Family Worship Center of Louisiana and Texas. She is intricately involved in the empowerment outreach of her husband, RC Blakes, through social media, book publication and conferences of all varieties.

Lisa is originally a native of Jamaica, was raised from a child in Canada and migrated to the United States of America as a young. She later obtained U.S. citizenship. She later married her husband RC Blakes and today they are changing a generation of hurting people one honest and transparent conversation at a time.
